PlayStation Vita: Sony’s Next PSP

Sony has just lifted the curtain on the PlayStation Vita, the company’s next-generation portable gaming device.

The device, originally codenamed “NGP,” made its debut at Sony’s E3 press conference in Los Angeles. The device looks exactly like the prototypes that leaked earlier this year.

The PSP’s successor includes a high-resolution, 5-inch OLED touchscreen (960 x 544 pixels), two analog sticks, rear touch controls, 6-axis motion sensors and dual front- and back-facing cameras. The device is supposed to run a quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor.

The Vita also comes with 3G and WiFi connectivity. AT&T will be the Vita’s exclusive 3G launch partner (much to the disappointment of the audience).

The PlayStation Vita hits the market sometime during this year’s holiday season. It will cost $249 for the Wi-Fi version and $299 for the 3G version. Some of the titles in development for the Vita include LitteBIG Planet, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Street Fighter X Tekken and Ruin.

Playstation Vita Penerus PSP

Nintendo Wii U Konsol Game Mirip Tablet PC

The Wii U, Nintendo's next console (video)

Coming in 2012, Nintendo's next home console will deliver "deeper game experiences" that aim to offer "something for everyone." And it'll be called the Wii U! A variety of new controls will be made available by that crazy new controller with a 6.2-inch touchscreen embedded in it. Most importantly, you'll no longer be tied to a TV to enjoy your home consoling action -- the Wii U controller can handle your gaming session when the television is needed for other purposes, while a built-in front-facing cam will let you video chat from anywhere too. Notably, you won't have to use the 6.2-inch behemoth if you don't want too -- the Wii U will be compatible with all current-gen accessories and software. Yes, your expansive Wii collection will play on the U version of the console as well. We've also seen some decidedly high-def visuals from Nintendo showing off the Wii U's graphical prowess. See video of the unveiling after the break!

Batman: Arkham City, an Assassin's Creed game, Dirt, Ghost Recon Online, Tekken, Metro Last Light,Aliens Colonial Marines, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and Darksiders II all got a mention as coming to the Wii U. Yes! EA's John Riccitiello just said the Wii U will deliver "brilliant HD graphics." Finally, the Wii is going HD!

Speaking of HD, the fact sheet from Nintendo informs us that the Wii U can pump out 1080p video over HDMI. It'll also be compatible with component, S-video and composite cables. There'll be "internal flash memory" of unspecified quantity, which will be expandable via either an SD card or external USB HDD. IBM is, as with the original Wii, once again responsible for providing the processor inside. Four USB 2.0 slots are made available, while game media will be served up on "proprietary high-density optical discs." There's also another, worthwhile, reminder that the Wii U will play Wii games and their optical discs without a problem.

You'll be immediately thrust into battle on horseback. Here there aren't too many Yellow Turbans to take down, but you'll also have to contend with two officers. Still, it's not hard at all, especially if you've already gone through the tutorial, which you should do if you haven't. After they're all down, you'll be in a camp. You can talk to people with icons above their heads, although it's pretty useless. Talk to the weapons dealer to buy more weapons, then talk to the guy with the red icon above his head (Cao Cao in this case) to start the battle. Once you talk to Cao Cao, the gates open and you'll be facing a flood of enemies. After you clear this first opening, you'll be notified that the Eastern Village is under attack. It's the offshoot on the right if you look on your mini-map. Go in there and clear it out. When you go to move up the mountain, you'll find boulders falling down both of the pathways leading up. Make your way up the left-most path. You'll have to simultaneously battle hordes of enemies and dodge the endless stream of boulders. If you can, try to push through to the left, into the Imperial camp, and kill Zhang Liang. This will stop the boulders from falling. You can mop up the rest after that. After this, you'll find the far right path blocked by high winds. If you go all the way to the left path, the one that kind of juts out from the rest, you can scale a cliff. This allows you to catch the next officer's men by surprise. From here you can make your way to the officer causing the high winds and catch him by surprise too. This lowers the morale of his men, weakening their stats. From here, it's a straight shot to the top of the hill, where you'll find Zhang Jao. He's not particularly hard to defeat, although his fireball blasts can hurt. The main thing you want to worry about are the pillars of fire Jao constantly summons on the court. You can get rid of this ability by destroy the four cauldrons in the corners of the area. From here, it should be a relatively simple task of pummeling the hell out of Jao.

       | Dong Zhou's Trap | [E2]
After talking to Dong Zhou, enemies will come through the open doors. Kill them and the enemies in the next area. Now head left. You'll find more enemies in this hallway, and some in an open room here, along with two Lieutenants. They are guarding a room with a few Handmaidens inside. Rescue them to get some temporary bonuses. Now go back and to the right this time. After you defeat the first group of enemies, the next set of doors open and you will gain a new ally. Unforunately, shortly after this, you'll encounter Lu Bu. If Cao Cao isn't leveled up, which he probably won't be, run away. You will not be able to take on Lu Bu. He is an immensely powerful character. His attacks do major damage. He will not even be phased by anything except Musuo Attacks, so trying to even chip him down is really just pointless. You should run into a room where you'll be tasked with dispatching the guards outside of a room with a tiger cage in it. At this point, Lu Bu will stop following you, so take them out and destroy the cage to set the tigers on Zhou's men. Clear this room out and Lu Bu will show back up, along with some Lieutenants through the now open doors. This part can be a pain in the ass. You'll have to run down the hallway and take out the officer here to eliminate the ballista. The ballista will continually try to fire at you as you attack, and Lu Bu will constantly follow you around. Try to slice through regular enemies when you get the chance and use a Musou attack on both Lu Bu and the officer. Once the officer is down, move on through the next doors. Lu Bu will eventually give up chasing you, but you'll have to deal with another ballista. Once the officer here is dead, get on the ballista and use it to destroy the barricade.

                               | Elimination of Dong Zhou | [E3]

Once the battle is under way, you'll need to head out of the gate and go to the far left. There's an officer over here that cuts through your own allies like butter. He's not particularly hard to beat when you finally get to him. Next, you'll have to head over to a camp belonging to Sun Jian. His troops are demoralized due to starvation and are being overrun by enemies, including two officers. Note that if you get lost, just head towards the green pulsating circle on your mini-map. Once you've cleared that up, head to the top-left corner of your mini-map and secure this checkpoint. You'll have to deal with two more officers when you get here. Now head to the gate. It's the large red thing on your map on the left side. Here you'll find a bunch of enemies and a couple of officers. There are more enemies and two more officers inside the compound. Once the officers are down, you view a short cutscene and are desposited on a horse. Clear the first area out and move through the gates. Here, there are several catapults. Each one has a single officer. Kill him to stop the catapult from firing. You'll need to commandeer one of the catapults and smash a hole in the wall with it. When you get to the hole, Lu Bu shows up again. Just keep moving away from him and he'll get bored and go away. Your main objective here is to take out the two officers guarding the next gate. At this point, you may get a notice that the commander is under attack. He stays outside the wall, and the menace attacking him is usually Lu Bu. Still, he can handle it, though you may want to make sure you clear out that area of all other enemies, because if the commander dies, the mission ends. Anyway, once you get through the final gate, you'll face a bunch of enemies, Dong Zhou, and another officer. Kill them to end the mission.

                               | Battle of Yan Province | [E4]

You'll have to follow and protect Cao Cao as he runs through groups of enemies. Inside the first courtyard type area, you'll have to deal with two officers. Make your way up the next path. You'll have to stop and deal with enemies at least once during this trip. At the next base, take out the two officers and continue forwards. You'll have to stop at a camp and clear it out of enemies. You need to kill at least 100 soldiers to continue on. At this point, Cao Cao will start following you, so you don't need to be in such a hurry to keep up. At the next base, wipe out the remaining Yellow Turban soldiers and officers. When this if finished, move to the next objective. Here you'll have to fight an officer named Xu Zhu. He's not particularly hard to beat, but he has a move that knocks you up into the air. At this point he'll continually juggle you, and this does a LOT of damage, so watch out for that. When he's down, the mission ends.

       | Battle of Xu Province | [E5]

You'll need to fight your way to a bridge. There are plenty of enemies, but the guy you're controlling can slaughter them in droves. On the other side of the bridge, after more fighting, you'll enter a garrison. When you do, the doors close and you're trapped with a bunch of enemies and two officers, so be prepared. After you clear them out, you'll need to rush back to Cao Cao. He's all the way back where you started. There are plenty of enemies between you and your goal, but you can bypass a lot of them. When you get to the main camp, you'll have to deal with a lot of enemies and three officers. Once they're down, you'll be defending the camp against waves of enemies and officers. Eventually Lu Bu himself will show up. Just take out everyone and keep him busy for a while and he'll eventually leave. After this, you will have to fight your way back to the bridge and across it. An officer guards the garrison that you took earlier. Once inside you'll have to deal with a lot of enemies, some captains, and some officers. After you clear the garrison, you'll go through the other side and have to deal with a lot of enemies and a large amount of officers guarding the catapults. When it's clear, use one of the catapults to blow a hole in the castle wall. Enemies will pour out of the hole. Once inside you'll find more enemies and officers. After you kill the last one, the mission ends.
       | Battle of Wan Castle | [E6]
The moment you walk out of the door, you'll be ambushed by soldiers. Cao Cao shows up with another officer to help you out. Move back inside the first building and kill the officer in here, then follow Cao Cao for a bit. After busting through some enemies, you'll find yourself trapped in a burning building with another officer and some soldiers. After this you'll head down some stairs. At this point you'll be ambushed by soldiers and phantom soldiers, who are partially invisible and cannot be harmed. You must destroy the three cauldrons in the arena to get rid of them. There's also an officer in this area and a lot of archers. After you clear that out and cross the bridge into the next area, you will have to deal with more enemies and an officer in the building to your left. When you move forward, don't stop to fight the enemies. They just keep respawning. Just move forward and take out the officers around the ballista, then use it to destroy the fire-breathing statues (if you want). If you stick around and fight enemies for too long, Cao Cao's health will start to drop. There's a lot more fighting to do until you get to a few big ballistas. Take out the officer here and watch out for those arrows. Once everyone's dead, go through the open gate here. Once you've gained control of Cao Cao, head through the gate when the battle begins. You'll have to fight to and secure two drawbridges. From here, you'll need to move to the castle walls and take on a large amount of enemies and at least 3 officers. At this point, your main camp will be beset by enemy forces, so head back and clear that place up. This will also draw the enemy out of the castle. Head back and fight through the enemies and kill the last two officers to end this mission. Be careful of archers all over place. They shoot flaming arrows that do a lot of damage over time.

    | Battle of Xiapi | [E7]

After talking to Cao Cao you'll have to fight your way to the castle walls. Once the officers here are down, make your way back to the floodgates on the left side of the mini-map. You'll have to take down 2 officers and a group of enemies. Inside the courtyard area, move to the device and use a heavy attack to break it, opening the floodgates. Now head back to the castle and fight your way to the inner courtyard. In here, you'll be forced to deal with a few officers, including Lu Bu himself. You will have to take him down this time, but with your upgrades, he won't be as tough to battle. Still, he does massive damage, and he's only really hurt by Musou attacks. You'll need to run around the area, taking out lesser enemies to build up your Musou gauge, then unleash it on LU Bu and his officers. When they're down, the mission ends.

    | Battle of Guandu | [E8]

Move outside of the castle and up the path. If you enter the pond when Jia Xu tells you to, you can come up behind Liu Bei's forces and quickly take him and his officer down. After that group is dispatched, move to the objective, and then take out the next group of enemies and officers. From here you'll have to go back and take out Yuan Shao's commander, then another group of enemies a bit further on. After they're all down, Cao Cao will start to make his way back to the castle, but will be ambushed by a large number of forces. Make your way over to him and protect him. As Cao Cao nears the castle, you'll face more waves of enemies and officers. Outside the castle walls, you must defeat one last rather large wave of soldiers and a few officers before the first part of this battle is over. When the second part begins, get on the castle walls and use both catapults up here to destroy the four siege towers. Now head back down and meet up with the officer. When you get to a fork in the road, he'll tell you to go left. Do so to surprise the enemy soldiers sent to ambush you up ahead. Take them out and keep going to the next set of gates. Here you'll have to deal with a large force of enemies and four officers before the gates will open. Once inside, there is a small group of enemies and two officers to defeat. Once they're all down, the supply depot is destroyed. Head through the other side and fight your way through the hordes of enemies. You will come to Yuan Shao's main gate. Once everyone outside is dead, the gate will open and you'll have to face Yuan Shao and his officers, along with regular soldiers. Yuan Shao is actually pretty easy to take down, and he's the only one you have to kill to end this mission.

       | Battle of Changban | [E9]
You'll be thrown immediately into battle here. Fight your way into the first garrison and defeat the officer here to take it. At this point the enemy forces will start running away from you. Your goal is to make it to the objective, where you'll go up some stairs into another garrison. There is an officer here with some soldiers and peasants, who are easily dispatched. From here there's more garrison hopping and fighting relatively simple officers, that is until you get to the bridge guarded by Zhang Fei. He's a bit tougher, and you'll have more enemies and at least one other officer to contend with at the same time. Once they're down, move across the bridge and deal with the next set of enemies that aren't running away. At this point you'll also have to face a few soldiers on horseback. They like to just charge at you, knocking you down, so deal with them quickly. In the next garrison, you'll be trapped with enemies and two officer. The officers, Zhuge Liang in particular, like to constantly throw out heavy Musou attacks, so be on the lookout for the red light that comes from them when they're about to pull one off. From here, hurry through the enemy forces and get to Liu Bei. Here you'll have to fight more enemies, including the officer Guan Yu. After he's down, the mission ends.
    | Battle of Chibi | [E10]

At the start, you'll simply need to fight your way to a ship containing two officers. One of them is kind of a pain because he constantly pulls off Musou attacks, but this shouldn't be too hard. Next, you'll need to make your way back to Cao Cao, who is fighting another officer that favors Musou. After defeating him, you'll need to protect Cao Cao as he moves across the ships. This can be a little tricky because it's easy to get lost and Cao Cao likes to just run ahead. Try to run past most enemies and just stay with Cao Cao. He'll reach a boat where he's ambushed by some soldiers and two officers. Take them down and board the other boat. While sailing away, an officer jumps on board and you'll have to take him down. He's remarkably quick. When the boat reaches port, more enemies and another officer come on board. This second officer likes to throw Musou attacks right at Cao Cao, so try to take him down quickly. Mop up the other enemies and follow Cao Cao to the end of the first part of this mission. The second part has you fighting a TON of enemies as you make your way towards some gates. When you finally get there, which will be shortly after the path forks, you'll find that the gates cannot be opened here. Take out the enemies and head back to the objective. Climb the ladder when you get there. Up here, the groups of enemies aren't so dense, but there's still plenty of them. When you reach the officer Quan Ping, take him down and watch out for archers here. You'll gain another officer once he's out. Fight along the winding path until you reach the next set of gates. You'll have plenty of enemies to take down while you're going up. Once you get to the next gates, you'll find that they too are shut tight. At this point you'll also be ambushed. You can take out all of them except the archers on the cliff above, so start back down the winding path until you reach the breakable wall. It's the one you encountered earlier that only a man of formidable might could break. Clear the area and Cao Ren will destroy the wall with a mace (somehow). When you reach the next gate, it'll close and you'll be stuck in a trap with a bunch of soldiers and an officer. Take out the officer to open the gates and then move through them to end the mission.

                               | Battle of Tong Gate | [E11]
At the beginning you'll have to secure two garrisons. There are a lot of enemies to deal with though, so you probably won't. It doesn't really matter though. You'll need to go back to Cao Cao's camp and eliminate the officer there. Next, you'll have to go all the way to the other side of the map. On your way, you'll quickly encounter another officer. Also, throughout this entire thing, you will have to deal with horses. There are a ton of horseback riders in this mission and they can be the biggest nuisance in the world. Not only are they quick, but they seem to spawn infinitely as long as normal troops are on the ground. When you get to the water, simply walk across it. It's only ankle deep. At the castle gates, you'll face another officer. Take him down to end the mission.

      | Battle of Yangping Gate | [E12]

Go right when you get the chance and start taking out enemies here. Follow this valley all the way to the top of the map. There won't be much action in this area. At the top, head right, then cut back down to face more enemy forces. You'll have to use a bridge to get across to the supply depot, if you can even manage to do it in time. There are a lot of enemies here, including at least 4 or 5 officers. After they're down, you'll have to go all the way back to the beginning, and quickly too. A large force of enemies and a few officers are bearing down on the area around Cao Cao's camp. Obviously, if Cao Cao dies, the mission ends. Try to ignore most of the enemies on your way back, and switch from your bow to something a bit faster. Once you've taken out that force at the bottom of the map, move up towards the top. As you fight your way to the top, you may notice that after defeating a group of peasants, they remark that Zhang Lu will simply heal them. As a result, they keep spawning, so just push your way up. Once you reach the objective, you'll face Zhang Lu and his officer. Zhang Lu will constantly heal himself, however. On your mini-map, find the two bottom corners of this room. You may notice that they kind of extend down. Explore these two areas and destroy the cauldrons within. Now, take down Zhang Lu to end this mission.

                               | Battle of Hefei | [E13]
The first part of this is short and sweet. Take out the first batch of enemies, including two officers, and your own castle gates will open. This allows ally officers to come out and aid you. There are a lot more enemies to deal with, including three more officers, before the next set of gates open up. At that point, move inside the next room and deal with the officer here to end the first part. In the second part, you'll have to defend the courtyard area you start in from two large groups of enemies. Once they're down, you'll have to take on two more groups of enemies just outside of the courtyard area. After they've all been taken care of, move towards Sun Quan's position. There's some fighting to be done on the way. Your biggest obstacle will be the garrison just before the final bridge though, which has a lot of enemies and a tough officer. Take him out and move forward to end the mission.

                                | Battle of Mt. Dingjun | [E14]

Take out the first group of enemies and move towards the fleeing forces. They will lead you up the mountain a bit, and right into an ambush. Quickly defeat the officer here and as many archers as you can. Cross the bridge and fight your way up the hill. This path is dotted with ballistas, and each one is guarded by an officer. However, unlike before, taking the officer out will not put the ballista out of commission. You will have to break the ballistas to stop them from firing. Keep going up the hill until you entire the next base. The main officer will run away, leaving you trapped with 3 other officers and a lot of archers. Take them all down and move out of the doors, then jump into the valley directly in front of you. Keep going and take down Huang Zhong and his officer to finish the first part of this mission. In the second part, move outside and just jump down the side of the mountain. Break up the troops here in the center and most will simply run away. At this point, you'll be called back to the main camp to defend Cao Cao against an officer. This officer is quick and its a long route back to the top, so immediately head that way. Once you've reached the top and have taken out the officer, jump off of the mountain again and defeat Huang Zhong, a few officers, and a load of troops. Now head towards the large ballistas and get through the door to the left of them. Fight through this garrison and you can circle around the backside of those ballistas. Once there, you'll face two officers and a lot of enemies, including archers. Take them out and destroy the ballistas, then move across the bridge towards the sea of red dots on your mini-map. At the top, just outside of the garrison, there are groups of enemies guarding mobile juggernauts, which are the things that shoot fire. Inside the garrison, you'll find a bunch of enemies and a few officers. Take them all down to end this mission.

       | Battle of Fan Castle | [E15]
On your way to your ally in trouble, you'll fight some enemies and a couple of officers. At the top of the hill, jump off of the wall and into the castle. Defeat the enemies and the castle will start to flood. Move deeper inside and take out the rest of the enemies in the final courtyard, including 3 or 4 officers. This ends the first part. In the second part, move forward and deal with the two garrisons. Both are filled with enemies and officers. Before you move through to the next objective, or even before you've cleared both garrisons, you'll have to deal with reinforcements coming from the top left side of your mini-map. You can stop them from ever showing up if you defeat the fleeing officer. If they do manage to show up, do not let them go or ignore them in any way. They will overrun Cao Ren if you do. After they've all been taken down, don't move for the green objective just yet. Instead, go to the South of the right-most garrison. There are catapults here. From here, you'll need to take two camps on hills in this area. Doing so will stop the ballistas from firing at the catapults as they move forwards. Once the catapults are set up, they will begin bombarding the castle and the doors in the middle of the wall will open up. Fight through this castle to Guan Yu. If the reinforcements arrive, you'll have to deal with two extra officers. Of course, if you're fast enough, you can run past them straight to Guan Yu. He's actually not that hard, but he likes to use Musou and he deals a lot of damage. If you can keep on him with the attacks though, he'll go down rather quickly. This ends the Wei storyline.

    | Yellow Turban Rebellion | [W1]
The first part of this is very easy, especially if you've gone through the tutorial, which you should do. All you have to do is deal with some soldiers and a few officers. When this is over, you'll be back in a camp. Talk to the girl with the red icon above her head to start the second part of the mission. Past the gate, after you clear this first opening, you'll be notified that the Eastern Village is under attack.

                              | Conquest of Liang Province | [W2]
At the start of this mission, you'll simply need to eliminate a couple of officers. Your objectives are the pulsating green circles on your mini-map. Take them down and move towards the bottom of the map. On the way you might pass through a garrison, the square directly in the middle. You can jump in on it from above to surprise the troops inside, rendering them unable to fight back for a bit. The officer there will fight back, however. Keep moving towards the next green objective, which is a group of archers and an officer on a cliff. Go all the way to the bottom of the map and you'll find stairs leading up to the cliff. Once they're down, fight your way along this cliff to the next set of stairs. At the top, you'll face another officer, Ma Chao. He's not too difficult. Keep going, up the next set of stairs, where you'll face more enemies and another officer. From here, it's a straight shot to the base. Inside, you'll find a ton of enemies and 4 officers. Take them down to finish this mission.

      | Ou Xing's Rebellion | [W3]
There are a few officers and a bunch of enemies to deal with in the first clearing. Shortly after this, your allies will move into the two garrisons and be ambushed. Before you clear them both out, deal with the messenger that travels along the right side of the mini-map. If he reaches his destination, he'll call in reinforcements. If you can't take him out, try to stay near the main base, because in about two minutes, a large group of enemies will head right for it. Either way, after you've dealt with the two garrisons, you'll need to help Sun Ce deal with more enemies and a few officers. Keep going, through another garrison, until you reach the main castle. Inside, take out the lone officer to end this mission.
      | Elimination of Dong Zhou | [W4]
Outside of the base, you'll immediately face off against some enemies and a couple of officers. At this point, you should probably make your way towards the base in the top right of the map. This is Yuan Shao's area, and he will soon be attacked by a large force of enemies moving up the right side of the map. Once you've defeated the two officers there, you can go straight left to the next objective, a supply depot. Clear this place of enemies and head towards the large bulk of red to the South. You'll likely face a couple of officers on your way there. Go through the first gate and defeat the two officers guarding the wall to end the first part of this mission. In the first area of the second part, you will have to clear out all the officers. They hang out near the catapults, for the most part. Once they're down, Lu Bu shows up. If this is your first time playing the game, you will probably not be strong enough to even dent him, and his attacks will annihilate you, so just run away. Use the catapult to destroy the wall ahead. Before you move through it, take down the officers in this area. They will flood towards Yuan Shao, and if he dies, the mission is over. Go through the wall when you've cleared the area and move towards the objective. Take down the two officers outside the gate, then move inside and eliminate Dong Zhou and his officer to end the mission.
      | Battle of Jing Province | [W5]
Fight your way to the catapult, then use it to break down the castle walls. Once inside the castle, take down the enemies and officers. Move forward and you should see some stairs to your left. Use these to get up to an officer and his group of archers. Take the archers out quickly. They can drain your health down before you even know it. After defeating this officer, another one comes in, and he's stronger. He also likes to use Musou attacks, so keep an eye out for that red energy before he attacks, and get out of the way. Once they've all been defeated, move down the stairs on the other side, then up the next set of stairs. In the next courtyard, you will be trapped with Huang Zhong and two more officers. Zhong is an archer, so watch out for his arrow attacks, plus his own group of archers in the area. After they're down, go to the next objective and defeat Liu Biao and his officer to end the mission.

      | Battle of Wujun | [W6]
Make your way South and fight through the droves of enemies to get to the first garrison you need to take. You shouldn't come across any officers until you get pretty close to the objective. To enter the first garrison, you'll have to jump in from the ground above it. Once inside, damage the officer a bit and he'll defect to your side. Now make your way to the next garrison and defeat everyone inside. As you move through the open ground in this area, you'll find that it is filled with officers and enemies. You will need to take all of these officers down before you cross the bridge into the final garrison. Once there, take out the last officer to end the first part of this mission. The second part thrust you immediately into battle against the officer Taishi Ci and a small group of enemies. He's not really that hard to defeat. After he's down, make your way North, towards the first garrison. Defeat all enemies outside of it to get the doors to open, then defeat everyone inside. From here, stay on the low path and take the central garrison next. It's fairly simple. After that, make your way to the garrison on top of the hill. The doors will shut and you will be trapped in here with Taishi Ci. He's still not that difficult, just watch out for his Musou attack. It does a lot of damage. Now make your way to the castle and defeat the two officers standing outside of it. Once they're gone, Taishi Ci reappears for the last time. The only difference here is that when you get him down to roughly half his health, he'll rally and heal himself. He's still not that difficult to deal with in the long run though. The castle gates open after this. Move inside and deal with Liu Yao and his officer to end this mission.

      | Battle of Shouchun | [W7]

Move to the objectives. One of them is a garrison filled with enemies and one officer. The other objective is two ballistas guarded by a single officer and some more enemies. Take the officer down to stop the ballistas from firing. Now, use the ballistas to kill all of the Defense Captains on the castle wall. Stay on the ballista. As the battering ram nears the castle gate, more Defense Captains show up and start throwing rocks. Wipe them out to enter the castle. Once inside, there are a few officers and a lot of enemies to deal with. When they're down, move to Yuan Shu's objective marker. You will find him hold up in a garrison with some enemies and a couple of officers. Take them all down to end this mission.
      | Assault on Xuchang | [W8]

Move to the objective marker and you'll find the officer Yu Ji. He will make two copies of himself that you must fight. Defeat them and move inside the garrison. You will be trapped in here with a bunch of phantom soldiers. They are practically invisible, and you can't harm them, so just keep moving. Yu Ji will summon three officers for you to fight. After this, he will force you to fight your own regular soldiers. Clear it out and the doors will open. You will face three officers in the next area. In the garrison after that, defeat the four officers that are summoned. Taishi Ci will jump in to help you after you've taken out two of them. After they're all gone, it turns out that Ci is also an apparition, so you must deal with him as well. In the next room you will have to take out a phantom copy of Sun Jian. Do so and climb the ladder, then jump off of the castle wall. Here you will have to face three phantom copies of Yu Ji. After they're gone, move to the next objective to finally take down the real Yu Ji, along with three of his copies. This ends the first part of the mission. Fight your way into the castle. There are a few officers to take care of here, but your main concern should be for the one that comes down the large set of stairs. After this, you will need to help two of your own officers that are being overrun by enemies. Your sister in particular is in need of help, and when you get there you will have to deal with no less than 3 or 4 officers. The castle itself is filled with enemy soldiers, so be careful when traveling from one location to the other. After they're fine, make your way up the large set of stairs and fight your way through the officers to the very top of the castle. Here, you only have to take out Xiahou Dun to end this mission. He isn't a pushover though, and you will definitely want to watch out for his Musou attack.
      | Battle of Xiakou | [W9]

You will need to move forward and take the three garrisons. The way up is guarded by falling boulders, but that shouldn't pose much of a problem. Each garrison has two officers and a load of troops to take down. The right-most one on your mini-map also has some ballistas that are annoying, to say the least. Defeating the officers stops the traps from working. Now make your way to the next objective. Here you must take down at least 3 officers and a ton of enemy troops. Now fight your way to the next garrison. Just outside of it you must destroy the officer Gan Ning. He's a bit tougher than the others, but still not too difficult. Once inside the garrison, take out the last two officers to end this mission.

                | Battle of Chibi | [W10]
You will have to protect your officer while he performs an incantation to change the winds. There are two areas here where enemies will move from the ships to the land via small bridges. Each area has only has one group of enemies to deal with though, but the groups have two officers each, and one of those officers is Zhang Liao. He can deal a lot of damage with his Musou attacks if you aren't careful. Once they've been defeated, an enemy force will move straight for your main camp on the far left side, so you must intercept them. There are three officers and a load of troops to take out, and once you do, Cao Cao will send more waves of enemies from ships, so head back and start dealing with that. There will be three groups of enemies to deal with here, and each group has two officers. After they've all been dealt with, the first part of this mission is over. When you gain control of Huang Gai, make your way towards the objective, Cao Cao. When you get close, his ship will set sail. Continue going that way anyway, because an ambush unit composed of a few officers will be where he left, and you will have to defeat them. After this, make your way to the other dock. You will have to fight through a ton of enemies, a surprisingly large number of which are archers, and several officers. The last officer is a robust fellow that can deal a lot of damage with his Musou attack. When you finally get back on land, you will face Cao Cao himself, who actually isn't that hard to beat if you keep the pressure on him.

                           | Battle of Nanjun | [W11]
You must secure the three garrisons. They are not difficult to take, but after dealing with the last one, you will be ambushed by some troops. Take them out, then head back to the objective. You will need to lure the advancing forces into this camp, which will then be set on fire. After that, you can take out all of the officers. Now move to the next objective. There are a ton of enemies and officers inside the castle, but you only have to take out Cao Ren to finish this mission. Be careful though, because Cao Ren hits hard and takes a beating.

                                | Battle of Hefei | [W12]
The first part of this is pretty simple. Just move forward, taking base after base away from the enemy. At the end, you will have to fight Zhang Liao, along with a bunch of archers. He deals decent damage, but once he's dead, this part ends. The second part throws you against more enemies and Zhang Liao again, right off the bat. From here you'll basically be going back to the starting point of the first part, but this time you must escort Sun Quan. Just keep following him. If you try to take all the enemies and officers out before you make it to the escape point, Sun Quan will get bogged down and destroyed. There are a ton of officers to fight here, almost everyone the Wei army has to offer. When Sun Quan is at the escape point, you are then instructed to go back and help Gan Ning. At this point, you may do battle with the horde of bad guys. There's really no strategy here, just keep moving around and beating the hell out of everybody, and watch out for officers using Musou attacks. Also, know when to use your own Musou attacks. Your normal one is an attack that focuses on one enemy, so use it on an officer if he's giving you trouble. If you've purchased your second Musou attack, it's a great crowd breaker. After they're all dead, go to Sun Quan. Zhang Liao is back, again, so take him down to end this mission.

                               | Battle of Fan Castle | [W13]
You will need to go and secure a garrison. On your way, you'll pass by two camps with signal towers in them. If the base captain spots you, which he undoubtedly will, then you will have to secure those bases before smoke can be sent from the signal towers. You will also have to destroy the towers themselves. If you do that, you will then have to kill the messenger that is sent out. If you fail at doing any of those things, the enemy forces will expect you and they will be harder to defeat. However it goes, once at the garrison, take the officer there down below half health and he will surrender. Now move to the next castle. When the doors open, clear it out. The two officers inside will also surrender. Now move into the next part of the castle and get the lone officer here to surrender. As you leave the castle to move towards the objective, two messengers will start running away. Catch and kill them. From here, move up to the next garrison. An enemy supply run will enter just before you get there, causing the doors to be open. Enter this place and destroy everyone, including the three officers. Be careful though, because two of them will rally, which means they will be healed and will be tougher to fight. Also, one of them likes to use Musou attacks. Once they're down though, the first part of this is over. In the second part, you will need to clear the castle of enemies and officers. After this is done, more enemies will pour through the two garrisons just South of the main castle. Clean them all out or they will move into the castle and overrun your allies. Still, don't mess around. While you're doing this, enemy forces will be moving into an ally-held castle to the South. You need to move there as quickly as possible and eliminate the multiple officers within. Now move towards Guan Yu's position. You will have to take down two more officers before you finally get to Yu. He's not particularly hard, but he likes to use Musou, and he will rally, restoring his health and making him even harder to beat.

                                 | Battle of Yiling | [W14]
Make your way to the objective. There are plenty of enemies between you and it, but you can bypass most of them. The officer here won't follow your orders, so you'll have to prove your worth by taking out several groups of enemies in the shallow river. Each group has one officer to deal with. At the end, you will have to approach an enemy officer named Guan Suo. Once you do, he will start chasing you. Lead him back to the main camp. Once there, he'll be caught in an ambush. Take him out. Now move back to the ally officer and escort him across the bridge. There's an ambush party comprised of two officers waiting for you. Once they're down, the fire attack will commence. Move to the garrison and defeat the officer inside. Once you do, the gates will open. Take care of the officer outside to end the first part of this mission. The second part of this has you working your way through a stone maze. Before you do that, however, I recommend turning around and helping Gan Ning out with the officer in the garrison behind you. You will need him in a bit. Most of this consists of dodging traps like arrows and spears coming out of the walls. The maze is also filled with phantom soldiers. You can't damage them, so just keep running. You will finally run into Zhuge Liang and some troops. Take him down to continue through the now open doors. There are a ton of big ballistas, a couple of small ballistas, and some juggernauts, along with at least one officer. Focus on the juggernauts and the officer. If you can take her down, the rest of the artillery will cease. Now, go back out the doors you came in. You will have to kill the captains to open them. Go back down the ramp, and this time go left. Kill the officer in this area to shut the maze's traps off. Your commander likes to get trapped somewhere inside the maze and he will get torn apart if you don't hurry. This is also where helping Gan Ning earlier can save you. Gan Ning will act as a sufficient buffer until you can backtrack along the maze and take out any officers you encounter. Now go back to the artillery room and head through the next doors. You will have to fight a lot of enemies on your way to Liu Bei's castle. Just outside of the castle, you will have to deal with a ton of enemies and several powerful officers. Take them all down, and watch out for the one in white in particular. Once they're dead, destroy the captains in front of the castle gate, move inside, and take down Liu Bei once and for all. This ends the mission.

                             | Battle of Dongkou | [W15]
Move forward and start taking out the officers marked with green circles. Enemy ships will start to come in. Go to the side they come from and defeat the green circled officers nearest the catapults to free them up, then use the catapults to destroy the ships. If you don't, it's not really that big of a deal, just an extra officer or two to deal with. Two ships will come from each side, but only in one wave, so once you've dealt with them, that should be it. Board the middle ship. When it arrives at the opposite shore, none other than Zhang Liao will jump on board to face you...again. Defeat him to end the first part. In the second part, move forward and up the hill to your left. You will need to defeat the officer up here to stop the boulders from falling. Next, you will need to use the left path and take the first offshoot to another hill to stop fireballs from falling down. You cannot simply go straight ahead to the castle, because the main path is a minefield. Instead, use that left path to swing around. Unfortunately, doing so will cause a LARGE amount of enemies to bear down on you. There will be a lot of officers to deal with here. Once you're past them, eliminate the next three officers you come across to deactivate the minefield, then mop up any officer objectives that are still on the map. Now move up to the castle. There will be an officer outside of it, along with a large force of enemies, most of them archers. Inside the castle, you'll face more enemy soldiers, along with Cao Pi and his two officers. Take them all out to end the Wu storyline.

       | Yellow Turban Rebellion | [S1]
The first part of this is rather simple. Just move towards the green pulsating circles. They denote objectives. The objectives in this case are officers that you need to take down. You should do the tutorial if you haven't already. Once you finish this first part, talk to one of the men with the red icons above their head. Clear the village out and move to the South. You'll need to take out the three officers here marked with the green objective circle. Once they are down, move back to the North. Both pathways up the mountain have boulders falling down them. You'll need to take the left most path up to an officer that is controlling the boulders and kill him.

                       | Elimination of Dong Zhou | [S2]
Move outside and towards the green objective. However, don't stray too far that way, because your objective will soon change. You will have to stop an officer coming up the right path from reaching and killing Yuan Shao. This particular officer is a bit tougher than most, but it shouldn't be a problem. After this, rendevous with Sun Jian in the garrison and clear it out, then move up to the supply depot at the top of the map and clear that out as well. Now, move down to the large mass of red on your map. At the castle wall, take out the three officers to end the first part of this mission. Move forward into the next area and clear it of enemies. At the next gate you'll face off against Lu Bu. You will not win against him. In fact, he will annihilate you if you try to go toe to toe. Your objective here is to simply run around and stay alive until the catapults are set up. Once they start attacking the wall, Lu Bu will retreat. At this point, the area will flood with more enemies and officers, so deal with them. Move through the gate when it's busted down. At the next gate, take down the two officers, then move inside the garrison to face off against Dong Zhou and his officer. Take them down to end the mission.

    | Battle of Xu Province | [S3]
You will need to go to the aid of one of your officers. Defeat the two enemy officers attacking him, then escort him to the castle and defeat the officer there as well. Once the doors open, move inside and take down the officers here, including Cao Ren. He is a bit more powerful than the others. Watch out for his Musou attacks. In the next clearing you will face three officers and a bunch of soldiers. There is another officer and more soldiers, including defense captains, inside the next garrison. After they're down, you can move forward, but a lot of troops will start coming from the path to the left. You should probably take them out first, or they'll just cause trouble for you later. Move towards the next objective. There will be plenty of soldiers and officers to take down on your way there. At the top of the mountain, you will gain Lu Bu as an ally. Inside the last stronghold, defeat Cao Cao and his officer to end the mission.
      | Battle of Xiapi | [S4]

Fight your way inside the castle. Here there will be officers, but your main goal is to get on the castle wall and destroy the ballistas up there. Once that's done, stay on the wall and then jump down to intercept Zhang Liao, who is coming from the top right of the map and will eventually make his way to Cao Cao's camp. Yuan Shu will also try to take Cao Cao, but he comes from the bottom, so deal with Liao, then make your way back to the camp and deal with Shu. After they've both been taken care of, make your way back inside the castle. When you get close to the inner courtyard, you will be ambushed by some soldiers and two officers. Take them down, then move on to face Lu Bu and his officer. Lu Bu shouldn't be too hard to take down this time. Just watch out for Musou attacks from him and his officer.
      | Battle of Guandu | [S5]

Fight your way down the path, defeating officers as you go. Eventually, you will be called back to a garrison on the other side of the map. Once you get halfway there, you'll see Guan Yu working for Cao Cao. You won't have to fight him, but his presence causes Yuan Shao's troops to all turn against you. Make your way to that garrison and defeat the two officers here. You must now escort Liu Bei to the escape point. Shortly after leaving the garrison, you will be ambushed by two officers and some troops. Defeat them and when you get to the village, prepare to fight two more officers and some soldiers. Keep going and you will be ambushed one last time by Yuan Shao himself. Take him down to finish the mission.

     | Battle of Xinye | [S6]
Fight your way to the first officer in the center here and kill him. You will now enter a weird maze-type construct. Don't touch the walls. In here you must defeat four officers each in a different room. This causes a portion of the wall to disappear and you can move through a garrison. Defeat the enemies inside and keep going. Cross the drawbridge and defeat the two officers here to end this short mission.
      | Battle of Changban | [S7]

You will have to secure four garrisons. Start with the ones below you and work your way around in a big circle until you get to the final one. Here, you will be trapped with the officer Cao Hong. Defeat him to get Liu Bei's child. Now go all the way back through the third garrison. In here, you will be trapped with another officer and a group of archers. Once he's down, go to the bridge and regroup with Zhang Fei. There are some soldiers and two officers to deal with here. This ends the first part. The second part has you defending a burning bridge against a LOT of soldiers and no less than 5 officers. The officers come in waves, but the normal enemies will just be all over you until you wipe them out. After this the bridge is extinguished. Two more officers might come out around this time. One of them is Zhang Liao. If they go left on your map after crossing the bridge, then they are simply running away, so you can leave them alone. However, Cao Cao's forces will come across shortly after that. Try to get as close to the escape point as you can before fighting this wave of enemies. After you take down the first four officers, a group of soldiers, including two officers, will immediately appear at the escape point, having found a way over the mountains. Take out that last group to end the mission.
      | Battle of Chibi | [S8]
Board the attack ship and get on the ballista. You will have to destroy three enemy ships using the ballista. After your ship starts turning, check the ship to your left for archers and kill them. When Cao Cao begins retreating, two waves of enemies will jump onto your boat. Each wave has an officer with them. Soon your boat will connect with an enemy ship. Move onto that ship and defeat the officer and archers in your way, then get back on land. From here, move to the objective and defeat the lone officer to end the first part of this mission. You will need to fight your way up the path here. There are plenty of soldiers to deal with. When you find Zhang Fei and the path splits, you can go left, but you'll only find an officer and a dead end. A fire will prevent you from going straight to Fei, so you'll have to take the long way around. After you rescue Fei from the officer, make your way towards Cao Cao. The gate will close when you get to him, and you will have to deal with two officers. An alternate path will be discovered, so go back down the hill and use it. Make your way to the next gate. It's guarded by two officers. Once they're down, move through the gate to take down Cao Cao and his officer. They both use Musou attacks that do a lot of damage, so be careful.

                                | Battle of Luo Castle | [S9]
Follow Wei Yan into the first garrison. Here you will be ambushed by two officers and other enemies, including some archers. In the next garrison you will have to deal with more enemies. From here, just follow Yan around. You can fight or ignore the enemies on the paths. When you get to the gate, defeat the officer. The bridge beyond is broken, so backtrack to the ladder and use it. At the top, jump down into the next garrison and take down the two officers inside. You will move forward, past the broken bridge from earlier. Shortly after passing it, you will be ambushed by archers and two officers on higher ground on both sides of you. After this, take out the two officers marked with the objectives, then follow Zhao Yun to the castle walls. Here you will have to deal with a large force of enemies and 4 or 5 officers. Inside the castle, take down the two officers to finish this mission.

      | Battle of Chengdu | [S10]

Most of this battle is fairly straightforward. It's not easy, or even short, but it is simple. Just fight your way to the next objective. Always do that. After taking down the first objective officers, you will probably try to pass through a garrison that leads you closer to your next objective. However, the doors remain locked even after you take it, so you will have to go the long way around by going South and taking the far left path. You must do this anyway, because there is an arbalest here stopping your troops from moving on. It is guarded by two officers. Take them all down to proceed. At the castle wall you will be joined by Liu Bei. Take down these two officers, then move up and take down the next two. They will defect to your side. At this point, destroy the officers and troops surrounding the next castle, then enter it and take down Liu Zhang to end this mission.

      | Battle of Mt. Dingjun | [S11]

You will need to take two garrisons filled with enemies and officers here. You will also need to defeat a group of enemies between those garrisons. When you first leave the camp, jump down with the other officers into the valley for a quick way down the mountain. You should start with the Southern most garrison and work your way up. Once you've secured all of them, you will have to go up to the Northern most road and take down officers near Cao Cao's supply depots. After you've defeated all of them and are at the end of the road, go South. You will need to ascend the mountain with the enemy base on it. You will have to go all the way around to the other side to start your ascent. At one point, the gates will be locked and you will have to take down an officer. There are also a couple more officers to defeat in a garrison before you reach the top. When you get to the main enemy camp, defeat Cao Cao and his officer to end this mission.

                                | Battle of Fan Castle | [S12]

Move towards the first garrison. You will have to fight some enemies, including two officers, just outside of it. Once inside, defeat everyone, then move towards the next objective on the left side of the map. This garrison has two officers that must be killed. Now, open the floodgates and board the ship. Once it docks with the castle, jump off the wall. You only need to take out the first two officers you see here. There are more, but taking these two out will end the first part of the mission. The second part of this has you following and protecting Guan Yu. Jump off of the castle wall and escort him outside of the castle. In the first garrison you will encounter a few officers. Don't let them hold you up, however, because Guan Yu will continue to push forward, right into an ambush in the clearing ahead, between the two hills. There are two officers there to defeat, plus a ballista attack from the smaller hill. After this, Guan Yu will run into another ambush in the water. This time, catapults will pelt the area with rocks while multiple officers come in to fight. Focus on the officers. You can generally ignore the catapults. Guan Yu will continue marching after this until he gets close to the left-most road, where he will be ambushed again by an officer. Another officer and some troops come at Guan Yu while you are crossing the river. After taking him out, move up to the garrison. Just outside of it, at the top of the steps, you will face the officer Ding Fang, as well as a few archers. Fang is tough and his Musou attacks do a lot of damage. Inside the garrison, you will have to deal with even more troops and three more officers. Taking them down finally ends this mission.
     | Battle of Yiling | [S13]

You need to clear out each objective along this side of the river. Each one consists of some troops and at least two officers. After they've all been cleared, move towards Liu Bei's position. You will have to take out an officer just outside of the garrison, and one will appear once you enter the garrison. After everyone's dead, the first part of this mission ends. The second part has you controlling a ballista at the start, so get on it. Take out the officer and troops here, then take out the second wave of regular soldiers when they come for you. After this, you can start rounding up the officers with green objectives marking them on the map. Before long, you will be notified of a secret weapon back at your base camp. Go there and you can drive a juggernaut, the flamethrowing stone dragon device. It's slow, but still pretty fun and pretty powerful. Unfortunately, you can only use it on this side of the river, so make the most of it. The Fire function sends out a large fireball, which is great for dealing damage to officers. The flamethrower just flames the area in front of you. 360 degree flamethrower emits flames all around you, great if you get bogged down by enemies. After you take down all the officers on your shore, they will start to move across the river. Take them down and head towards the next objective. As you approach the final garrison, you will face a lot of enemies. Inside the garrison, take down the officers. For some reason, they have a tendency to be lured away by your own officers, so you might have to chase them down. After they die, another one pops in. Kill him to end this mission.
     | Battle of Tianshui | [S14]

You will need to take the two objectives here. One is a clearing with a few officers and a lot of enemies, the other is a garrison with more officers. From here you must make your way up the left road to another garrison. Before you do that, you might want to kind of thin out the officers in this area. At the next garrison, defeat the lone officer here. You will now have to head all the way back to your main camp to stop three advancing forces. The first two you encounter have an officer each. By the time you get to the last one, it'll probably be inside the camp itself and you will need to deal with two officers here. Now go over to the next garrison and defeat everyone inside. It turns out to be an ambush, but still shouldn't be that hard. You will now have to go to the camp at the very top right corner of the map. As you make your way up the large clearing in the middle, two more forces, each led by a single officer, will come out to battle you. Also, as you get close to the camp itself, you will be ambushed by a sizable force of officers and troops. Just outside of the camp, take out the officer, then move inside and quickly deal with Jiang Wei. Archers will spawn in as soon as you enter, and they can take your health down rather quickly if you let them. Wei is no easy opponent. He has a lot of health, he deals a fair bit of damage, and he's pretty fast. Watch out for his Musou attacks, and put him down to end the mission.

    | Battle of the Wuzhang Plains | [S15]
Go down the path and take either of the two garrisons. When you do, you'll have to go back and take the center path. On the center path you'll find a few officers, and if you keep going, a ladder. Use that to get up to a cliff with an ambush force on it. It consists of three officers and a bunch of troops. Take them all out. Now you must go back up the center path. A few officers will come your way, so dispatch them. At the supply depot, destroy the lone officer here to end the first part of this mission. Take out the three officers near the river here. Once you do, two juggernauts will be available for you to use. You can take them to the other side and use them to wipe out the two officers here, plus the ballista. Once they're down, make your way towards the objective by using the road on the left side. The main way up is mined, so you will have to take the long way around. Once you get to the bridge, take out the officer, cross it, and eliminate the ballista. You will now have to go all the way over to the other side of the map and bail out an officer on the right-most road. When you get close, you will be ambushed by an officer and some archers, defeat him to open the gates, then head inside the garrison and defeat two more officers. Before you even reach the right side road, you should be made aware of enemy reinforcements heading for your main camp. Go from the garrison down to the main camp. You should arrive with plenty of time to spare, despite the annoyingly long journey. Defeat the officer here and more will show up. Don't leave until you've beaten them all, then head back up towards the objective. When you finally reach the main enemy camp, you'll have to deal with a lot of enemies and officers. Take out Sima Yi, the main officer inside the camp, to end the Shu storyline.
